Northern California Collection Service in Sacramento, CA has a team of accomplished executives and legal counsels. They provide our team with sound advice and guidance, enabling us to professionally serve many local and national clients.
Lawrence H. Cassidy, President
Larry is the dedicated president of Northern California Collection Service and its sister companies, Sacramento Valley Board of Trade (SVBT) and Pacific Board of Trade (PBOT). SVBT provides credit reporting, networking, and management tools for the media, food, and liquor industries. On the other hand, the PBOT provides commercial debt collection services for Hawaiian credit grantors.
Larry served as the Chairman of the Legislative Council of California Association of Collections. In that capacity, he has introduced or has been instrumental in most of the new laws in California that govern the collection of past due debts.
Larry has also served as the president of the California Commercial Collectors Association and American Commercial Collectors Association for the United States, Europe, and Asia. Additionally, he is the director of the Commercial Law League of America.
Luther Hopp, Vice President and General Manager
Luther brings 35 years of commercial and retail collection agency background to Northern California Collection Service, Inc. His previous experience in all aspects of the industry allows him to bring this expertise to all areas of the company’s needs. Keeping the agency current with all updates in the field, effectively managing the collection staff and making sure that our clients receive maximum return is only part of what he does each day.
Our Legal Team
Steven D. Cribb, Attorney at Law
Steve joined Northern California Collection Service in 2000 as our principal attorney after graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree and Juris Doctorate from the University of California, Davis. Steve is a member of the State Bar of California and the Sacramento County Bar Association.
Andre J. LeLievre, Attorney at Law
A graduate of the University of California, Santa Barbara, Andre started working at our company in 1998. He tracked satellites in the Air Force and worked as an archeologist before attending the McGeorge School of Law. Andy also worked as a clerk at the Attorney General’s office and a worker’s compensation defense firm before passing the bar.
Andy is licensed to practice in all state and federal courts in California, as well as the U.S. Supreme Court. He has a lot of experience in creditors’ remedies and debtors’ rights, as well as pre-trial through enforcement of judgments focusing on commercial collections.
Laurence C. Blunt, Attorney at Law
Larry became of counsel for our company in 2006. In 1966, he received his Juris Doctorate from the University of California, Hastings College of Law, where he was a member of the Law Review.
Before going into private practice, Larry served as Deputy Legislative Counsel for a few years. A sole practitioner for more than 4 decades, Larry’s core competencies revolve around real estate and construction law.
